Electronic Equipment Insurance
This policy covers accidental damage including mechanical and electrical breakdown of electronic equipment e.g. computers; installations and peripheral equipment.
The policy does not cover mechanical and electrical breakdown if a manufacturer’s service/maintenance contract is not in force. The sum insured should represent the new replacement value of the computer installations. The policy can be extended to include mobile equipment e.g. laptops at an additional premium.
The policy is also subject to an excess.
